With over 200 luxury property sales in its first two years, Humber Valley was a development and marketing phenomenon given its location and challenges. Despite today being recognized as a uniquely beautiful area of Canada with no less than four UNESCO World Heritage sites in the province, the perception of Newfoundland was so unfavorable in Canada in 2002 that by the time Humber Valley Resort had sold its 300th property, only one had been sold domestically.
