Upon starting the NPI (Newfound Property International) subsidiary of Newfound Group N.V., Brian Dobbin specifically sought a project that was different from the North American, Caribbean, and European product the company was already selling.
He embarked on an investigation of South African resorts and visited 18 different projects in the country. The award winning Pezula private estate is situated in the famous Garden Route on the Southern Cape coastline. Located on the eastern head of Knysna just 40 minutes flight from Cape Town, it is bordered by the Noetzie beach and Sinclair nature reserve and has panoramic views of the Indian ocean.

Upon meeting the owner and developer Keith Stewart, Brian and the Newfound Property International team undertook the sales of these distinct properties for several years to international markets.
